What happened this week?

  • Another math test...
  • An eye doctor appointment, I don't need glasses yet, I may need them later and I should continue with my vision therapy.
  • I was on a very well-done tour of Mt. Herzl (Jerusalem's military cemetery)

Apparently the week was a bit empty... Have a good one!

Weekly Update

I just decided to post a review of the week every Thursday or Friday. Let's see if I can keep this up and actually post every week...
What happened this week?
  • We had a "Shabbat Ulpana" which is a school Shabbat. It was a lot of fun, except for the sad realization that we only have 4 Shabbatot to go until we graduate...
  • I went to Yad Vashem to work on a paper on the Holocaust, but didn't find any material there on the topic I needed. On the other hand, I did come to the conclusion I have all the material I need so it shouldn't be so bad...
  • I started trigonometry! As far as I'm concerned, trigonometry was always the really hard stuff that the really old high school students did... and now I'm doing it!
  • Tamar's Corner came out of the shadows...

So I have a chemistry test tomorrow and I'm home for Shabbat. Have a good week, everyone!

This is a test!

I'm trying to post a picture to my profile, and I found out I can only do that through posting it on the blog. So you can all enjoy staring at this beautiful picture of me! ;-) Posted by Picasa

Guess what? (Tee hee)

Remember Lucy the guinea pig, my favorite pet? So every Friday my father has to clean out her cage in the backyard, and the 3 of my siblings who don't hate her watch her to make sure she doesn't run away. Except that she did run away. At the edge of our backyard there is a fence and then a drop onto an unpaved path. She's hiding somewhere in the rocks, refusing to come out. My father dug a hole so she can get to our yard from where she is, but she's ignoring that. She's still there, and she's been there since Friday. We don't know if she'll ever come out... I vote to get a non-pregnant guinea pig after she's officially gone.
Edit: See, I just post this and then they get her back! Not that it makes a difference to me...

I'm done!

It's over! This morning, I got up super-early again and went to the recruitment office. After the soldiers there were done going about their business and ignoring me, one of them called me into her office and I was out of there in about 2 minutes. She said to expect the actual exemption notice in the mail. I'm done, and it feels good!
